Sick for One Week

Sigh...

When I get sick, it normally lasts rather long. But I seldom fall sick. Probably once in 6 months. So I guess it compensates for the long interval.

Have been sick since last Sunday. Not too serious. First it was sore throat. Two days later, sore throat went away and cough developed. I blame the watermelon that I ate on the second day. Ate too much of it.Until today, still coughing and my voice is still sexy and hoarse. Have been self-medicating myself. Probably not compliant enough. Should have started with antibiotics earlier.

Anyway, still moving about like normal. Just went to Sunway Pyramid today. Ryan's birthday today. He chose to eat at Sakae Sushi. First time I was eating Gyu Don. Quite nice.

Hunt for a Designer Bag

Actually what do you define as a designer bag?

If it is in the 4 digit price range? or if the name of the bag is by a fashion designer?

I really don't know. But I have been having this urge to treat myself to a really nice leather bag. Well, actually it is not a new thought. Have been fiddling with this idea for I think a few years! Yeap... a few years! See how much initiative I have about getting something I want. The thing is that I have been looking around a few brands for a long time... and nothing really attracts me. Well, if I am gonna pay like something which is the amount I earn... I better think twice or more like hundred times before I make the purchase right?

Normally, when I am free or feel the urge, I just look at Ebay and see whether there any nice designs. Then, the next thing that comes to my mind is..."Is it a fake? How can I trust the seller? What if I am conned?"... that is a big joke walking around with a fake thinking it is genuine. Some more my hard earned money! So after all those questions circling in my mind, I just give up looking and I am back at square one. And end up with my usual bags from Jusco or Parkson...

My current bag is already falling apart (Jusco brand)...so I have to search again. I was thinking of Radley bags the other day... was pretty keen on them...saw that Robinson's was having a sale that day... but after seeing their collection, I decided to give that brand a miss. There is something I don't like about the leather they use. Or maybe the designs they had there wasn't very nice.

Then, I went to Kate Spade's boutique at the Gardens. Wow...the price also very nice. I wouldn't mind have splurged on her bags... but the current designs weren't very impressive. So, now I am looking at Kate Spade's bags on ebay...but there are alot of fakes for that brand. Sigh! Everything also got risk right?

Saw a Michael Kors bag too...nice and less than RM1K.
