Sore eye!

Since Saturday, my right eye has been sore. At first I thought it was an eye infection coz it was red and teary on that day. So I quickly went to get Neo Deca eye drops.

But as the days are progressing, the redness has subsided but the soreness is more prominent. My entire eye ball feels like it is burning and swollen inside. But from outside, it looks normal.

I still applying the eye drops but I don't think it is really helping. I am more worried the steroid in it will make it worse. By right, the steroid should have reduced the swelling by now.

Never had this kind of thing before.

Hate the feeling.

My most expensive bag thus far...

I gave up looking for a bag on ebay...

Was going to get some no brand bag already coz my current bag is looking really ratty. I normally carry no brand bags coz I am not really bothered about brands. But decided I want a change.

Branded bags were out of my budget. But i was willing to spend if I saw some thing that caught my fancy. Looked at Guess, Fossil, DKNY, Radley... nothing.

Then, last Saturday ... we were at One Utama. Nine West was having a 15% discount storewide. Went in and looked at the bags. Nothing really screamed to me. Then, I dragged Hubby inside to ask him to have a look. He saw a bag and said that is so me. Hhhmmm... how come I didn't see that bag? Ok... price range is not normally what I would spend on a bag. But, brown is my favourite colour.

So, now I am RM271 poorer.

And where is the bag now?

Still sitting on my piano stool. One week have passed and I haven't even looked at it yet after coming home.

I think I too sayang to use such a pricey bag. I rather have a al-cheapo bag so I can use it for market and shopping and work. More versatile.

Buy expensive bag... don't use. Silly or what?

American Idol Season 9 sucks!

This is the first time I am following American Idol which I feel totally and utterly bored. I would say I am semi-following it now since dwindling down to the final 6.

Some how, this year's line up isn't interesting. I don't feel that buzz every time I switch on the telly to view it. For last year's AI, my heart would be racing with excitement whenever the music started and the contestants come on stage. And especially when Adam Lambert appears.

This year, it is obvious my favourite is Lee Dewyze. But that's it. That's all! No one else. The rest makes me yawn. Especially Crystal Bowersox! Actually ALL of them.

I will see AI coz there isn't anything really interesting to watch now on telly. Maybe its just that AI is losing its lustre. Its thing! Well, will see about it next year especially when Mr Cowell is no longer with the show.

How could I miss my friends wedding???

Darren and Khimmy are getting married!

It was the greatest news to me coz they were my really really old childhood friends. And through God's grace and intervention, they somehow met a few years ago and now they are tying the knot. One friend is an old church friend and one friend is an ex-schoolmate.

When I heard the news (which was very belated- of course!)... I was totally surprised but elated for both of them. Darren is like a brother to me... and I love making the mickey out of him. Well, now being a married man already... got to restrain myself in terms of the jokes that I make to him.

Anyway, he sent me the wedding card via e-mail. Darren is working in Australia. I received the e-card about a month back. Knowing me, I don't really pay attention to dates until the very last minute. I just knew the wedding would be some time in May.

So now May is here... I was thinking to myself...better retrieve the e-card and check the date. I kept on procrastinating it... I retrieved an old email of Darren's...but there was no sign of the e-card...so I had to look further back but didn;t get down to it.

Before I knew it... May 8th arrived. I was working that day. A little voice told me "better go and call Yi lin and check with her when the wedding is..." but I got pre-occupied and forgot about it. True enough, I received an sms from Yi Lin in the evening asking me where am I at the wedding dinner... and that she didn't see me there!!!

OMG! When I read that sms... I felt totally silly and bad! HOW COULD I MISS THEIR WEDDING????????

I kinda of was looking forward to attend the church ceremony and to see them as I have not seen both of them in years! And to wish them all the best....!

So sad! So sad! I guess I can only see the photos via Facebook!

Hot weather is here again!

Just like last year... around this time... the weather was a torture. Scorching heat.

Yesterday, somehow the sun was extra angry. So darn hot. Blazing. My whole house was like a sauna. We practically switched on the air con from evening till this morning.

Ally was also retaining heat. When she is here at home, she gets all heated up. Once I send her over to the babysitter, she gets cooled down. Had to give her a dose of paracetamol to regulate her body temperature.

Arrggh! Just wanna have a nice cool swim or drink some nice cold Ice lemon tea...
