Boy I feel like s*** today!

Why???

I have been at the computer for the past one hour. Blogging. Trying to feel better. But nope! Still feel like s***!

Why o why???

Maybe I am too sensitive with emotion and thoughts. I am such a softy!

-Some stuff I bought online has not arrived yet. Already one week late. Definitely lost in the mail. I hardly buy things online and this happens to me!!! Darn post! Probably the mail people have opened it up for themselves. Everyday I wait for the postman and no parcel for me!!!

-My tenant is opting for early termination. There goes my christmas plans. And more stress on doing up the place and getting new suitable tenants.

-I get involved in 'something' that I was apparently just helping and now negative thoughts/words are said to me.

-Ally is not putting on weight. Am I a terrible mother that i don't know how to feed my daughter? Or not giving her the best for her? Her weight percentile is slipping each time I weigh her at the doctor's.

-I wished I have more hands.

Poor Ryan. I let it out on him.

Up up and away...

Wow... things just keep on going up.

Can't seem to be surprised each time I need to buy something.

Yesterday...was the price of gas. Usually i pay for one cylinder..RM26...yesterday RM27.60 pulak!

Then, today..went grocery shopping at Tesco first thing in the morning...straightaway my wallet lighter by RM100!

Quite a number of things at Tesco had gone up. Usually...their own in house brand eggs..RM3.99...now RM4.29! Milk too is one item that keeps on going up. Fresh and also UHT milk. A couple of months ago...Dutch Lady UHT Low fat milk 1L was about RM3++ to RM4++...now is like RM4.59-RM4.79! Even the Marigold brand went up RM0.50.

How not to price watch?

Simply want to make sure we get the best bargains.

My wallet is thin

What does that mean?

For the past 2 weeks... I have not been going to work. Due to the long holidays. I can't even remember when was the last time I went in to work.

So, no work. No moo-lah.

So...wallet thin lah!

Expenses also cut down. Not much receipts in the wallet.

But from next week onwards, have to work extra days.

Good that my wallet will be fatter but sad that I will be away from my kids for a longer period.

What to cook for dinner today?

Scratch! Scratch! Scratch!

My head , that is!!!

Really blur case in what to cook tonight. No inspiration.

Frankly, my cooking sucks! BIG TIME! But as you know, chinese cooking...very easy to cheat. A dash of soya sauce, a blob of oyster sauce, a splash of Shaoxing wine and .... VOILA!!! you have a tasty dish of MSG laden food sitting in front of you.

But right now, I am so tired of that dash, blob and splash thingy. All my dishes have that same pattern. At one time, I was really into checking out food blogs and getting ideas etc. But when it comes to the nitty gritty of preparing those kind of elaborate food...my laziness gets in the way. So back to dash, blob and splash!

Okay...back to tonight. My family needs to eat. They will be hungry in a couple of hours time.

Let's see. I have brinjal...ok...brinjal with mince meat. Can?

I have cabbage. Cabbage and egg...urgh! so tired of that style.

I have siew yok. But already cooking mince meat wor. Too much pork in one meal.

Oh yah...fish! I can cook fish! Yes...alright. Steam fish. Easy peasy.

That is my menu tonight.

What I did on Merdeka Weekend

So many long weekends this month.

Still have no clue what to do.

Merdeka weekend...we took a drive to Putrajaya. Yah yah, that was the highlight. So exciting right??? Was only there for less than an hour. Didn't even get down from the car. I have to admit the buildings impressed me at first. Very nicely done. But then again, do we need such big beautiful buildings??? Then, after awhile, the many many traffic lights along the main road started to irritate me. No car also must stop and wait. Then my bladder was giving me trouble. Shouldn't have drank so much chinese tea during our Yong tau foo lunch. Couldn't find any toilet. Ryan then said he too wanted to pee. Ended up Hubs had to drive back to the highway and stop at a R&R.

Then, we headed straight to Bukit Cahaya at Shah Alam. But we reached there a tad too late. 4.30pm was the closing time. So we just hung outside the entrance and looked around. So exciting right???

Even though hubby had 5 days off from Fri to Tues...it seemed to pass so quickly. Everyday we had something to do. If not, even staying at home with the kids and not doing anything was enuf to drain my energy.

Anyway I had a fun Merdeka weekend. Anytime spent with family is time well spent!
